Welcome back Bulldogs!
We are excited to start another school year at Ballast Point Elementary! We have a wonderful group of staff and students again this year, and we are proud to partner with our incredible school.
Here are the top three things to know going into the 2022-2023 school year:
The PTA is proud to support Ballast Point! In the past, the PTA has helped purchase school supplies, umbrellas, benches, water bottle fillers, 1:1 laptops, and much more! Our volunteers help staff AR parties, manage field day stations, set up spirit nights, and help with various activities throughout the year. Also, we are very proud of our two school fundraisers, the Bulldog Bash and Walk-a-thon. But none of this happens without our members and their support. Memberships are $15 for an individual, $25 for a family (2 adults) and $5 for staff members.
2. VOLUNTEER!
PTA is completely made up of volunteers. There are many opportunities throughout the year to support our school. You could help in the front office or help at a school event like the AR party or walk-a-thon. You could attend a spirit night at a local restaurant, or bring food and supplies for a staff potluck. You could help with the silent auction items at the Bulldog Bash. Do you have any special talents, skills, or an idea you would like to share with the PTA? We’d love to hear from you! 3. KEEP YOUR EARS OPEN!
There will be many ways that we communicate information this year. There is the Ballast Point Elementary Facebook page, the monthly PTA newsletter, Mrs. Hastings’ monthly newsletter, text messages from the school, and PTA informational flyers home in backpacks.
